Lawyers started delivering their final arguments on Thursday in the trial of three men accused of targeting and drugging individuals to rob them. While the prosecution painted a picture of a calculated scheme preying on vulnerable victims at Hell’s Kitchen gay bars, the defense argued that while theft had undeniably taken place, the state had failed to prove the serious charges of robbery and felony murder.
