Jenny Pierson is a former book editor and current editor at the nonprofit journalism think tank the Independent Media Institute. She has been a Hell’s Kitchen resident for more than a decade. Pierson is the executive founding director of the forthcoming Cat Museum of New York City, a proposed institution to educate the public about cat rescue, cat care, and the cultural history of cats, primarily through art exhibitions.
