Born and raised in a red-brick tenement on 45th Street, Hell’s Kitchen runs through my veins. Matthews-Palmer Park saw me grow through two decades, from a playground-stomping tyke to a dollar-slice-munching teen. After studying journalism at St. John's University in far-away Jamaica, Queens, I sharpened my skills at Morning Brew, NBC, and CNBC before founding my own media company, Down to Earth, which promotes wellness and community-driven storytelling. Today, my work as a tenant organizer in the Housing Freedom movement aims to secure affordable, community-owned housing on the West Side and beyond. In true Hell's Kitchen spirit, I'm fighting for my neighborhood with all I've got – and then some.
